Bernie’s dedication to service and appreciation for long-term relationships has earned him a reputation of the foundation of the Valley’s architecture, engineering, and construction industry.

Throughout his 60 years as a practicing Architect, Bernie’s dedication to service and appreciation for long-term relationships earned him a reputation as the foundation of the Valley’s architecture, engineering, and construction industry. He delivered numerous high-tech advanced manufacturing facilities and eCommerce distribution centers, supporting large industrial developers and end-users.
Bernie shared his design and business acumen with his team. He thrived on being both the student and the teacher, continuously educating himself and others. Bernie’s vision of a total collaborative work environment, combined with open communication and a commitment to a healthy life-balance, invigorated staff members and inspired fresh ideas.
His legacy will be honored though the continued success of his firm, and his iconic words, “All life, including professional, is made up of three basic words – “anticipate, action and follow up”.

Deutsch Architecture Group has enjoyed the benefit of Dave’s project management and leadership for over 20 years. Deutsch Architecture Group has enjoyed the benefit of David’s inspiration and leadership since 1993. He has built lasting relationships with many renowned clients in the Industrial, Advanced Manufacturing, Commercial and Public Works sectors. David has strong connections with governing agencies and associations such as NAIOP, ACE and GPEC, this allows him to successfully expand the firm’s client base and forecast future opportunities.

FRED DEUTSCH
Principal
With over twenty years of architectural and construction experience, Fred brings his passion of creating synergies for our clients back to Deutsch Architecture Group. His past experience working for a developer and general contractor has broadened his understanding of projects – from start to finish. Clients rely on Fred’s experience and ability to work with governing agencies on the successful completion of each project.
As Principal, Fred is responsible for company operations and client services. Our clients benefit from his years of knowledge and understanding of a wide range of project types.
CEO
Fred joined Deutsch Architecture Group, alongside Founder Bernie Deutsch in 2000. Fred manages Finance, Human Relations, and Information Technology and is a Client Advocate. With over twenty-five years of experience in the architectural and construction industries our clients benefit from his understanding of a wide range of projects and his ability to work with governing agencies, ensuring seamless project completion. Fred brings his talent for creating client synergy and employee engagement together.
Outside of Deutsch, Fred is an animal welfare activist and has enjoyed many years working for non-profit organizations and sat on the Board of Directors for a local Animal Rescue. Through his philanthropy and connection to our municipal partners, Fred continues to bring well respected Clients to Deutsch ensuring continued project opportunities.
KAREN OHMANN, RA
PRINCIPAL
Karen joined Architecture Group in 2004. Prior to her career at Deutsch, Karen was a registered nurse, she graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1984. While Karen enjoyed the medical field, she knew her true calling was Architecture. In May 2004 she graduated with a Drafting/CAD Technology, Associates of Science from High-Tech Institute. She joined Deutsch and continued her education to become a Registered Architect in March 2018. Karen has been LEED Certified and has significant experience in the Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare, Higher Education, Public Works, Retail and Entertainment sectors.
Karen is a skilled project manager, team leader and mentor. She strives to achieve high standards through continuing education, both formal and informal. Her sense of responsibility and follow-through supports all tasks she undertakes, she is committed to delivering projects on time and within budget.
